Life is busy

It’s been a busy couple weeks between running work and trying to have some fun.  Probably not the best excuse for not posting any updates.  I have felt strong on my runs and have been adding some distance. After a real cold week, Saturday’s long run felt like a warm summer day. I was even in short sleeves for a while. We ran Barnstable Village including Barnstable Harbor.  I have really grown to love living on Cape Cod!!

I was supposed to have my first attempt of the dreaded service road but due to some of my running buddies having some injuries we decide to wait another week. They keep talking up the Service Road that I think I’m starting to develop some anxiety.  Everyone tells me this is the key to conquering Boston and having a strong run.  I’m really hoping for a great run but then again isn’t everyone.

The best part of Saturday group runs is the coffee time afterwards.  I am really enjoying getting to know all of them.   The best part of running 13 miles is being able to eat whatever I want afterwards, bacon and cheese scone, Yum! IMG_1416
