Long Runs

Well I applied to the NYC half marathon which takes places in March.  My sister recently moved to New York City so I thought I could visit with her and take part in this amazing race.  Unfortunately I found out today that I did not get picked in the lottery.  I was looking for a half marathon to run in March 2014 and thought I found one.  There is always the New Bedford half but I was looking to try something new.  So if anyone has any suggestions for a half to try in March let me know.

My fundraising is starting to take off, I hit $1200 today.  A big shout out to Amy GiaQuinto and Heather Pearston for their generous and thoughtful donations this week.   THANK YOU!

LONG RUNS- I need your help!!!

So my 18 week training program starts on Monday December 16, 2014.  Each week I will do a long run on either Saturday or Sunday.  I would like to dedicate my long run each week to someone who lost their battle to cancer and honor their memory.  I have a few weeks still open and looking for some amazing people honor.  Please let me know if there is a friend or family member that I/we can all honor and remember!  Send me a message, cmhornby@comcast.net

Please consider making a donation during this holiday season in honor of a loved one!  Each week we are one run closer to a world that is cancer free.
